Wisepower srl is among the participants to the international InnovAction fair to be held in Udine from Feb.15 to Feb. 18.
The main purpose of the newly born spin-off of the University of Perugia is to present its new approach to the problem of powering mobile electronic devices (called wisepower technology) to the vast audience of entrepreneurs and venture capital operators.
Such a new technology is aimed at integrating/substituting the traditional batteries with energy generators that convert the energy available in the ambient into electric energy for device powering.
After developing the initial experiments on the WISEPOWER technology the inventors of the wisepower technology made the final step to make a good idea a potentially profitable company.
Wisepower was born within the spin-off program of the University of Perugia and is aimed at designing and prototyping a new class of micro-power generators.

The wisepower project classified first at the Start Cup 2004 regional prize. The Start Cup competiotion is organized in order to promote and to reward the innovative ideas that originate from the research work done in the University and show potential for fuelling a business enterprises.
